Dear friends,
It has been nearly two years since Reverend Lim was unjustly detained in North Korea. Since that time, his community has worked hard to raise awareness of his case and your support of this petition has been an important part of this effort.
In recent months, Reverend Lim’s health has deteriorated. He has been receiving medical care since August and our concern for his health and wellbeing is growing. We cannot know with certainty that he is receiving adequate care, making this situation all the more difficult for his family.
It is now more important than ever that we raise our voices to press for his release, and to ensure that securing his freedom is a top priority for the Canadian government.
As the holiday season progresses, the congregation of the Light Korean Presbyterian Church faces another Christmas without Reverend Lim, who is a spiritual leader and friend to so many in his community in Canada. We ask that you keep Reverend Lim and his family in your thoughts and prayers this Christmas. Every action we take to support his community makes an impact, and lends strength to Reverend Lim and his family.
With your continued faith and support, we hope that soon we will have good news to share, and that Reverend Lim will be allowed to return home in Canada 2017.

Thank you,
The campaign to Free Pastor Lim.
